At NextGen Creatives we endeavor to partner with professionals who are passionate about their craft, from teachers, actors, musicians, writers, filmmakers and more. These individuals are committed to their craft as well as transforming the next generation to be their best.
What We Offer
We offer learning from a creative space where youth will be able to gain knowledge from our creative writing workshops to film, acting as well as music labs.

Kimberly Smith
Kimberly T Smith (Founder/ Creator/ Writer/ Producer) hails from Detroit, Michigan. Her love of the Arts was birthed through assisting her aunt, Dianne Smith, with her stage play, “The Devil Made Me Do It,” which saw its theatrical debut in the early 90’s. As a result, Kim got to wear many hats from: stagehand, to costumes, set dressing, props and so much more.
She graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Southwestern Christian University, a Masters of Science in Higher Education Leadership from Northeastern State University and a degree in Pastoral Studies from Rhema Bible Training College in Broken Arrow, OK.
Additional training have included: The Austin School of Film for screenwriting and post production work; Institute of Children's Literature, workshops on Playwriting; and the most recent was a Film Lab (2021), which was a collaborative training for aspiring directors, screenwriters and actors. Kim is a published author of two books and attends CFTN (Church for the Nations). She resides in Phoenix, AZ.
